Pradeep Kumar R. is a seasoned technology leader with over 15 years of experience in software engineering, design, architecture, and delivery. He is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Zee5, where he is responsible for building and leading high-performing engineering teams, delivering scalable platforms and solutions for both enterprises and startups. With a passion for technology, customer experience, and people, Pradeep has a track record of spearheading the initial India Development center for AirAsia in Bangalore, where he built products and engineering teams from scratch. He has also led digital innovation teams at Wells Fargo, driving digital transformation charters. Pradeep's expertise lies in design-led architecture and engineering, where he has hands-on experience in building distributed systems, polyglot microservices, cloud (GCP, AWS) architecture, design patterns, and big data ecosystems. He is an avid innovator, with five patents filed and one patent granted. Pradeep's key strengths include problem-solving, quick learning, humility, disruptive thinking abilities, end-to-end ownership, attention to detail, team player, and mentoring. He has built a B2B Connected Conversational e-commerce marketplace for MSMEs and their ecosystem products, and his tech stack includes senior software engineering, AWS, NFT, GCP, microservices, big data, Python, Java, Javascript, search, CI/CD, mobile, and infra. Pradeep holds a degree in Information Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and has completed his MPC (11th & 12th) from Shri Vidhyarthi Junior College under the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education.
