Pradeep Kumar S K is a highly experienced Senior Chief Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute Bangalore. With almost 16 years of relevant experience, he has worked with Samsung in various capacities, including as a Chief Engineer and Technical Lead. Pradeep has an extensive background in system and kernel technical group, BSP on Goldfish and vanilla kernel, power and performance profiling and optimization, and customizing device drivers for varied smartphones on Android. He also has experience working with SWA100 Wearable SOC platform, USB, DMA device driver, and Bootloader driver development and bringup on FPGA and soc, SOC bringup, performance benchmark, and optimization of SD Card, EMMC, I2C, USB, and UART drivers, power optimization, Kernel migration, and DTS support for the device drivers. Pradeep has redefined the Display pipeline architecture for POC of Low power always on Display using CM0 and CM4 microcontrollers. He has also worked with the Image Vision Accelerator team, where he was responsible for VDMA, VCF, SCL software validation and verification on the FPGA and soc for multiframe vision processor (MVP). He defined Vision SDK, developed a runtime framework (firmware and interface layer) on the SDK, VDMA driver and HAL development, scheduler, and runtime integration, SDK test suite development for MVP. Additionally, he co-worked with MPI Dallas and Suwon team for SRZoom, Low light shot use case realization on MVP for Samsung Galaxy flagship devices. Pradeep's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering. He is proficient in Mobile, Senior Software Engineer, test, Android, and Integration and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
