Pradeep Charan is a seasoned Staff Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the field of DevOps and infrastructure. Currently based in the Bay Area, he is working as a Principal DevOps Engineer at Asurion, a leading provider of device insurance, warranty & support services for cell phones, consumer electronics & home appliances. At Asurion, Pradeep collaboratively works with various teams to build, deploy, and operate systems. He is responsible for automating and streamlining operations and processes by leveraging DevOps tools. He maintains tools for code repositories, artifact repositories, code coverage, build, deploy, monitoring, Infrastructure Provisioning, and Config Management. He also architects Cloud and on-prem Infrastructure in an optimized and secured fashion. Pradeep documents, mentors, and socializes the usage of tools and processes to other team members as part of team cohesion. Pradeep has a strong background in supporting J2EE based applications on Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, and Jboss on different flavors of Linux. He is a big fan of Open Source Technologies and always eager to implement it as much as possible to re-engineer/automate processes. Pradeep holds a Masters in Computer Engineering from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He also has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. Prior to his current role, Pradeep has worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at VMware and Intuit. He has extensive experience in designing and implementing DevOps solutions for complex enterprise-level applications. Pradeep has a strong technical expertise in DevOps and infrastructure, making him a valuable asset to any organization. He is always willing to learn and implement new technologies to improve processes and drive innovation.
