Pradeep Choudhary is a Senior Product Manager at ShareChat, where he is currently leading the development of the next generation of content creation products to unleash the creativity of 100M Indian Content Creators. With over 8 years of relevant experience, Pradeep has a strong background in product management, machine learning, mobile and web technologies, data science, computer vision, and software engineering. Prior to his current role, Pradeep worked as a Lead for ML Products at DB Digital, a digital content products startup backed by the Dainik Bhaskar Group. During his time there, he led the product requirement for all the ML projects and was also responsible for leading the development of algorithms as well. He built the entire personalization engine from scratch and worked on defining product requirements and development for multiple ML projects such as feed personalization, relevant article detection, and notification personalization. Pradeep also worked on evaluating and improving the content SEO strategy of the company. Before joining DB Digital, Pradeep worked as a Senior SDE for the Data Science and Camera Teams at Hike, where he led the computer vision projects for camera and DS teams. During his time there, he led the development of HikeMoji, where he led the model development for personalization, set up a 3rd party database creation team, collaborated with design folks to set up component creation infrastructure, and worked closely with the product team to validate the MVP using NPS. He also worked on other projects such as face beautification in live camera, duplicate video and image detection for Hike's very own content platform - Sooper, and logo detection. Pradeep holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi. He is passionate about game engines such as Unity 3D, Maya, and Unreal, as well as AR/VR tech. He is currently leading the expansion of ShareChat's product team to build AR experiences for the next billion internet users.
