Pradeep Dev is a seasoned Senior Engineer with over 6 years of experience in the technology industry. Currently, he is working at HCL Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, where he is involved in NFC firmware technology for client NXP Semiconductors. He has also worked as an Architecture Verification Engineer at ARM for 1.7 years, where he gained a good understanding of ARM V8a architecture and expertise in ARM-DEBUG architecture. Pradeep has a strong understanding of NFC technology and firmware, and he is currently working on test cases development and debugging ARM assembly and C code using tarmac for ARM V8-A architecture. He has completed two years as an Audio/Voice Software Engineer at NXP Semiconductors India Pvt. Ltd., where he gained valuable experience in configuration managements such as GIT and SVN. He has also worked on optimization of ARM assembly coding and neon assembly coding for ARM platforms, with good exposure to memory and MIPS optimizations. Pradeep has experience in profiling of voice post-processing techniques on QDSP and ARM, and has worked on voice post-processing algorithms such as Acoustic Echo-Cancellation and Noise Reduction. He has a good understanding of Perl scripting and has worked on enhancing test cases and test module tools. Currently, at HCL, Pradeep is responsible for release handling, build and validation of NFC firmware in different levels. He also writes and modifies test cases to validate different features and scenarios, and enhances the test cases and test module tool. In the past, he has worked at ARM as a Consultant, and at Sankalp Semi as a Design Engineer, where he worked on ARM architecture verification and validation. Pradeep has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from SJB Institute of Technology, Bangalore. His tech stack includes test and software engineering, and his relevant experience is 8.45 years.
