Pradeep Kumar is an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer with over 7 years of experience in Avionics Software Development and Verification. He currently works as a Staff Engineer (Firmware Engineering) at Western Digital, where he is responsible for developing and testing firmware for storage devices. Pradeep is a skilled Test Automation Engineer, with expertise in using Python, PyQt5 Framework, Driver development using Python and NI LabVIEW, Avionics Software Verification using NI Teststand, Python, C, DO-178B, and DO-178C. He is a seasoned innovator and has 2 technical papers at SAE International Conferences, 3 invention Disclosures, and a patent to his credit. Prior to joining Western Digital, Pradeep worked as an Avionics Software and System Test Engineer at Airbus and as a Senior Engineer at Collins Aerospace, where he was responsible for the Validation and Verification of Sensors and Integrated Systems.
