Pradeep M C is a seasoned Software Engineer with almost a decade of experience in system programming. He has expertise in system level software in FreeBSD and Linux and has worked on Linux device drivers and Board support packages during his tenure at LG Soft India. He has also contributed to the open source community by porting FreeRTOS to MPC56xx micro-controller. Pradeep is proficient in C language and Python and has a good understanding of Data structures and Algorithms, Operating systems, multi-threaded programming, GNU debugger, PowerPC architecture, freeRTOS, Bi-directional forwarding detection protocol, and some networking fundamentals. Apart from his professional experience, Pradeep has also worked on personal projects related to Software Defined Radio (SDR) and Digital signal processing fundamentals. Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer at Juniper Networks as part of the Junos Core OS team. He is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Device Configuration Daemon module, which is a system level component of Juniper’s Junos OS. Pradeep's skills involved in this role include C language, Systems programming on FreeBSD OS, and GDB. Previously, Pradeep has worked as a Software Engineer at Cisco and LG. At Cisco, he was responsible for developing and maintaining the user space device drivers for the BFD protocol engine module in Broadcom’s ASIC. He worked on enabling BFD protocol over IPV4 and IPV6 in hardware and Micro BFD protocol over IPV4 in hardware. At LG, he was part of the team responsible for Android Lollipop OS upgrades for various mid-tier models of LG android phones. He also worked on porting audio drivers for Qualcomm SOC MSM8x26 and MSM8x16 and porting of LK bootloader for the above SOCs. Pradeep holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Communication from the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering. He is proficient in Software Engineering, iOS, Android, and Python.
