Pradeep Padmanabhan is a highly accomplished researcher with over 5 years of experience in the field of solar energy. He is currently working as a Researcher at the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore, where he is involved in developing advanced, high-efficiency industrial solar cells. Pradeep has a strong academic background, holding a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electronics and Energy Materials from the National University of Singapore, along with a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution. He also has a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Energy Systems Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Metals, IIT Kharagpur. Prior to his current role, Pradeep worked as a Project Engineer at Team Shunya, IIT Bombay, where he was part of a team of 70 young and passionate engineering students with a vision to build a real-scale house that works solely on solar power generated by the solar panels installed on its roof. He was also a Research Associate at the National Centre for Photovoltaic Research and Education (NCPRE) at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where he streamlined the baseline process for the production of commercial-grade solar cells and conducted research on advanced solar cell materials and processes. Pradeep's technical skills include research and development, solar cell fabrication, materials characterization, and device physics. He has also published several research papers in reputed international journals and presented his work at various conferences and seminars. Pradeep's passion for renewable energy and his expertise in the field make him a valuable asset to any organization working in this space.
