Pradip Thoke is a highly experienced VP of Data Engineering with over 14 years of leadership experience in data warehousing and big data framework. He has expertise in on-premise Hortonworks and Cloudera implementation, cloud deployment on AWS, GCP, and Microsoft Azure, and proficiency in Snaplogic, Informatica, MSBI, Business Objects, Tableau, Looker, Unix Shell Scripting, Java, and Oracle, Teradata, and PostGres. As a big data enthusiast, Pradip has architected and delivered DWBI solutions using modern technology stack in the big data Hadoop framework for batch and real-time analytics. He has implemented Hadoop-based data lake architecture, data acquisition, transformation, storage, and distribution models using Hadoop ecosystem components like Logstash, Kafka, Camus, Flume, Pig, Hive, HBase, Cassandra, Impala, Oozie, HCat, Tez, MapRed, Spark, Scala, and Java. In his current role as Data Engineer - Onsite at Cognizant, Pradip is serving as the onsite tech lead for JP Morgan Chase. He has also worked as a Big Data Architect at Pitney Bowes, where he was responsible for setting up Data Lake and Data Warehouse platforms for multiple products and having a common integrated data store (IDS) for big data analytics. Pradip holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Information Technology from Government College of Engineering, Karad, Maharashtra.
