Pradit Kulshreshtha is a highly motivated professional with a passion for innovation and sustainability in structural engineering. As the Co-Founder of livehooah, he provides structural design for industrial warehouse, multi-storey, and essential structures, enabling companies such as Amazon, Flipkart, and AllCargo Logistics to achieve maximum structural resilience while maintaining economy. He also deploys structural health monitoring infrastructure to forecast maintenance of bridges, dams, tunnels, ancient monuments, and high-rise buildings, and provides provisions for IoT architecture for early warning systems for natural disasters. Pradit's vantage point in life focuses on synchronizing various degrees of freedom in structures, art, and people to produce synergy through robust and sustainable development. His work in structural engineering concentrates on improving the resilience of structures after resonance between their natural frequency and exciting frequencies of man-made/natural forces. He believes that resilience ensures safety of our existence yet allows the maximum drift due to resonance towards a better tomorrow. Pradit has a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Maharshi Dayanand University. He also holds a certification in Plectrum Guitar from Trinity College London. He has 19.45 years of relevant experience and is well-versed in machine learning, infrastructure, and research science. In his past roles, Pradit served as a Research Intern at Penn State University, where he compared optimization methods to improve thermal performance of insulated masonry systems and identified shortcomings in earthquake resilience of insulated masonry units. He also performed Life Cycle Assessment and compared embodied energy for different types of insulated masonry units with respect to non-insulated CMU units. As an Assistant Design Engineer at Engineering Solutions, he led the team to analyze and design a 12-storey concrete residential building at a seismic prone area located in Gurgaon, India, and analyzed the building using pushover analysis procedure and designed as per IS 1893:2002, IS 456:2000, and IS 875:1987 building code provisions.
