Praful Anand is a Senior SDET with an overall experience of ~4 years in software engineering and automation. He possesses a diverse range of skills, including web UI automation using Selenium (Java Binding), web development with expertise in React JS and Node and express JS, Azure Devops, continuous integration with Jenkins, test management with HP ALM, and API automation using Rest Assured. Currently working as a Senior Software Development Engineer Test at Swiggy, Praful is responsible for end-to-end quality assurance and testing of backend services involved in lead generation, conversion of lead to delivery executive, and managing DEs experience for Swiggy's Food Delivery Ecosystem to deliver unparalleled convenience to the customer. In his previous role at BlackRock, Praful worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer for the Aladdin Product Group in Trading and Liquidity team. His responsibilities included automating the regression test suite for Java Swing based desktop applications, providing insights for improving the automation framework, testing the latest releases of the automation framework, and analyzing the test suite for test cases suitable for automation. Prior to BlackRock, Praful worked as an Automation Tester for an American Banking Client at Wipro. His responsibilities included automating the regression test suite, enhancing the keyword-driven framework to automate the new functionalities added in the application, innovation, and implementation of new stuff to make the existing framework more scalable and robust, and developing and maintaining automation scripts. Praful holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Amity University. He is constantly learning about software development, primarily web development, and looking to pursue opportunities in the same. He is also interested in problem-solving, data structures, and algorithms. In his leisure time, Praful loves playing cricket and is a big fan of James Anderson.
