Prafulla is a Media Technology professional with over 20 years of experience in live News broadcasting operations, Satellite Communications, Live streaming, IP broadcasting over 4G bonding technology, digital transformation, and news gathering through mobile. He is currently working as a Senior Manager in Times Network, where he is responsible for planning and implementing new satellite TV Channel installation projects, installation and operation of IP-based/4G bonded solution outdoor broadcast and news gathering, managing live streaming of TTN channels, and working on digital rights management software. Prafulla has hands-on experience on various streaming encoders like elemental, matrox, Live U, etc., encoding hardware, and streaming technologies. He has knowledge of various audio/video codecs and encoding standards and exposure to different media products like Avid, GV, Adobe Premier, MAM, PAM, DAM, and playout automation. He is proficient in managing live streaming of TTN channels as well as TOI web page and MX Player and working with different OTT protocols like RTMP, HLS, MPEG-DASH, etc. In his previous roles, Prafulla worked as a Sr. Engineer in CNN- News18, CNBC-TV18 Group Company, where he led the planning, designing, and implementation of new channel set-up using various broadcast equipment. He also worked as a Broadcast Engineer in Eenadu Television, ETV Network, Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, where he gained hands-on experience in vision mixing, audio mixing, VTR operation, camera, and CCU operation. Prafulla holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Principal L N Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai, with a specialization in IT Project Management. He also holds an Advance Diploma in Business Management from the same institute with a specialization in IT Projects Management. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication from Amravati University. Prafulla's tech stack includes Mobile, AWS, Web, test, CNN, Data Scientist, and Research Scientist. He is a budget planner, financial analyst, and expert in preparing MIS in related areas. He has experience in developing, preparing, and implementing capital budgets and projects.
