Pragnesh Prajapati is a highly experienced System/Functional Validation Engineer with over 14 years of experience in various technical domains. He is currently working as a SoC/ System Validation Engineer for PCI Express at Intel, where he is responsible for the design and development of PCIe Gen4 functional and system level validation test cases using Lecroy Exerciser and Python scripts. He actively participates in creating the validation strategy, test content creation, Power-ON or Board bring-up activities, and post-silicon validation of Intel's high-end processors and 1st Discrete Graphics Processor. Pragnesh has extensive experience in PCIe 4.0, PCIe 3.0, developing production firmware for Access Control Embedded Systems, and developing diagnostic firmware for EMC Storage and Automotive. He is proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, LeCroy scripting, Python, TCL scripting, DM Scripting, and protocols such as PCIe Gen4 (PCIe 4.0), NVMe, SPI, I2C. He has also worked with various software and tools such as PCIeCV4 compliance tool, PCIe protocol test suites, Eclipse, GHS Multi IDE, Source Insight, Understand C++, Dynamic C, Chrysler Diagnostic Tool (HEW), GNU GCC tool chain, and GNU C/C++ compilers. Pragnesh has worked with various lab equipment such as Lecroy's PCIe analyzer/jammer/exerciser, Oakgate, and Logic analyzer. He has experience in version control systems such as SVN, VSS, Clearcase, and others such as Agile, Waterfall, Remedy Users, JIRA, SevenDB, and ApTest. Pragnesh has worked with companies such as Western Digital and Seagate, where he was responsible for the failure analysis of Enterprise PCIe/NVMe SSDs and post-silicon validation of SATA/NVMe SSD Controller – Rev A0, B0, respectively. He has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Nirma University.
