Pragya Chauhan is a highly skilled Software Developer with almost 5 years of relevant experience. She is currently the Head Leader at brain (biological research and innovation networks), where she has raised funds for the project by pitching proposals and ideas to senators. Pragya has also mentored and led the club to win its first ‘Best Innovation Project’ under SNT Summer Camp. She has collaborated with Techkrtiti to expand the reach to over 200 colleges and organized events and workshops to increase interaction between professors and students. Prior to her current role, Pragya worked as the Manager of Media and Publicity at Antaragni IIT Kanpur, where she led a team of 60 volunteers to manage the coverage and publicity of events for the festival. She managed to create a footfall of about 40K by conceptualizing and executing publicity strategies. Pragya also worked at Aurobindo Pharma as a Trainee, where she constructed pTWIN1-KanR E-coli bacteria cloning vector with a budget of around 1.5 lakhs. She used techniques such as PCR, Miniprep, AGE, Midiprep, Ligation, and Restriction Digestion to construct the vector. Strategic plans were developed in order to ensure efficient use of resources. The vector was constructed to be used in the future for synthesizing and purifying various drugs. Pragya completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and Bioengineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2018. She has a strong technical background in Software Engineering and is proficient in various tech stacks. Pragya is a driven and ambitious individual with a passion for innovation and research. Her strong leadership skills and ability to think strategically make her a valuable asset to any team.
