Pragya Mishra is a highly skilled Software Developer with a passion for building logical solutions to real-world problems that can be scaled on incremental data points. With almost 5 years of relevant experience, Pragya has a knack for getting flexible with the latest technology and is always eager to contribute more to society through futuristic ideas. Currently, Pragya works as a Software Developer Engineer II at BookMyShow, where she has worked on several projects, including search, data engine, discovery, and Accred. In her role, she has added artist search, genre/lang based search, and has end-to-end responsibility of anything and everything around search. Pragya migrated old foodcombo API flow to Golang and worked on fixing the ETL pipeline and automating various processes and BAUs. She also worked on adding various features and removing tech debts in Accred and got through penetration testing by EY by solving multiple cases. Prior to her current role, Pragya worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Whitecrow Research, where she worked closely with the product team for understanding requirements and reverse engineering them into features. Some of the products that she started from scratch include Whitecrow Hire, Webbtree, TRMS, and also added unique features in the older products like Aegis and Candidate platform. Pragya mostly worked on really cool features like search through document, recommendations that take into account tiniest details about candidates, boolean search, aggregated search, CSV exports, monthly reports, chrome extensions for grabbing candidates from more than 10 platforms, and many more. She also has experience in scaling the database, figuring out the most optimal structure, creating microservices, and mentoring interns to improve the team performance. Pragya has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida. She is proficient in several technologies, including Software Engineering, Search, Javascript, NodeJS, Elastic Search, Redis, MySQL, Microservices, Golang, MongoDB, Kafka, ETL, NLP, RabbitMQ, AWS, Image Processing, Word2Vec, OpenCV, Scikit, PHP, Frontend, Web, and Kotlin.
