Pragya Preetam is a software engineer currently working at Qualys Inc, where she is involved in front-end engineering for the container security team. With a passion for solving puzzles, Pragya found her calling in software engineering as it presents the biggest never-ending puzzle to solve. She is a curious and creative individual who enjoys learning about new tools and technologies to incorporate resourcefulness into coding blocks in her head. Pragya has experience working with ReactJS, Node.js, and HTML/CSS/JS (ES6/ES6+). She has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Fergusson College, where she studied Artificial Intelligence, Unix, Algorithms, and Data Structures. Pragya has 3.20 years of relevant experience in software engineering, including her past roles as an Associate Developer and Software Development Engineer Intern at Veritas. Outside of work, Pragya is an avid reader and writer who enjoys reading sci-fi, thrillers, and autobiographies and writing prose or poetry. She believes that writing and coding both involve processing information, bringing ideas to life, and creating beautiful, powerful things that can make a difference in the world. Pragya is a beginner in programming and is amazed by the various possibilities of programming. She is grateful for the opportunity to learn, solve, build, and grow with programming and is always curious to explore new things.
