Prajakta Shitole is a highly experienced Software Engineer with over 13 years of experience in developing mobile and web-based applications. She is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer, Android at Netflix, where she is responsible for developing apps for Android. Prajakta has a strong background in software engineering and holds a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from San Jose State University. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune. Throughout her career, Prajakta has worked on a variety of projects and has gained expertise in various technologies such as Android, Software Engineering, Mobile, Web, Frontend, QA, Search, and UI. Prior to joining Netflix, Prajakta worked at Yahoo as a Mobile Application Developer and later as a Tech Yahoo! Software Quality Engineer. During her tenure at Yahoo, she worked on developing apps for Android and also developed web front end for an internal tool using ReactJS for about 2-3 months. She also worked on automation for Search Front end, which included automation for anti Adblock, traffic distribution, error log handling, Security scans, automation on an internal tool, and other UI related automation.
