Prajal Trivedi is a Software Development Engineer at Zillow Group with over 4 years of relevant experience in the field. He completed his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from Nirma University, India, where he developed his interest in programming and implemented several projects on Java, Android, and Web development. During his undergrad studies, Prajal interned at 99Robots and Triberr, where he worked as a full-stack developer using web-technologies such as PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, HTML & CSS. He also gained experience in work management tools like Slack, Asana, and GitHub and went through all the stages of the software life-cycle - development, testing, and support. To further advance his knowledge, Prajal completed his Masters of Science in Software Engineering at UC Irvine. He is now working at Zillow Group, Irvine, as a Software Development Engineer. Apart from his academic and professional pursuits, Prajal loves playing soccer, hiking, and trekking. He has represented school and university teams in soccer and went on a 6-day trekking trip to the Himalayas last year. He also enjoys traveling to new places to explore nature and different cultures. Prajal's technical skills include Software Engineering, AWS, Web development, Java, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, dotNET, ASP.NET, Jenkins, Redux, Microservices, Frontend development, Android, and Information Retrieval. He has also worked as a Teaching Assistant for the course Information Retrieval and Project Management at UC Irvine and as a Software Engineering Intern at Zillow Group, where he developed a control center for AWS infrastructure to cut AWS costs by 40% and integrated OKTA authentication and authorization.
