Prajesh Jain is a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong command over various DevOps tools and practices. With over 3 years of experience in the field, he is always eager to learn new technologies and tools to enhance his skills. Currently, he is working in the Technology Exploration Group at Secure Meters Ltd. as a Senior Developer Application Software (DevOps). In his current role, Prajesh has been instrumental in automating infrastructure and deployment using Ansible, setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, and containerizing new and existing applications in Docker. He has also worked on R&D related to Kubernetes and Docker, and set up a private Docker registry. Prajesh has experience in using ELK and Grafana for log management, Service Discovery (Consul), High Availability, and Load Balancer (HA Proxy) with keepalived. Additionally, he has installed, backed up, restored, and upgraded Postgres Databases in versions 9.4, 9.6, and 13.3. Prajesh has also migrated applications from CentOS7 to Ubuntu 19.04 and OEL 8. He is proficient in scripting using shell, batch files, and Python, and has developed Web APIs in .Net Core 3.1. Prior to his current role, Prajesh worked as an Application Software Developer (DevOps) at Secure Meters Ltd. where he developed a desktop application in .NET framework 4.5 to emulate the client website or web services and test the gateway interfaces in the same manner as the client project would do in an actual case. He has also completed a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from the College of Technology and Engineering, Udaipur. Prajesh's technical skills include DevOps, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, software engineering, CI/CD, web development, infrastructure, Python, Postgres, microservices, testing, MySQL, MSSQL, and GCP.
