Prajnan Sengupta is a Regional Sales Excellence Manager at Reckitt, with a strong background in sales and marketing. He has extensive experience in the FMCG sector in Orissa and Andhra Pradesh, as well as in telecom sales in Goa and Delhi. Currently, Prajnan is responsible for managing Go-To-Market activities and regional sales development for the East region at Reckitt. He is also leading the integration of two business units and is the custodian for rural and urban expansion at the regional level. Prajnan ensures a smooth transition in systems and processes during integration and initiates planning and implementing regional-level initiatives on line selling, depth and width growth, coverage expansion, DB infrastructure assessment, manpower productivity, and other parameters of sales development. Previously, Prajnan worked as an Area Sales Manager at Pidilite Industries, where he was responsible for growing top-line distribution and creating and enhancing brand awareness and visibility at the ground level in Orissa State for the STI Division of Pidilite Industries. He was also a Territory Sales Manager at Idea Cellular in South Goa, managing a team of three distributors, 10+ promoters, and 10+ DSEs. Prajnan holds an MBA in Marketing from Symbiosis and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Durgapur. He also completed his schooling in PCM from Kendriya Vidyalaya. His tech stack includes integration and infra. With 7.70 years of relevant experience, Prajnan is a sales and marketing enthusiast who has a proven track record of achieving primary and secondary sales targets, increasing distribution and reach, and increasing on-ground visibility and acceptance for each product among stakeholders.
