Prakarsh Pathak is a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence. With close to four years of experience, he has worked extensively on ensemble and deep learning techniques, and is currently focusing on GUI development and automation at Hewlett Packard. As a System Software Engineer, Prakarsh has been instrumental in developing new features in existing Printers UI firmware of type 2Line, 4Line, and LED models in C language. He has also implemented performance improvement strategies for displaying double-byte characters into a machine-readable format. Prakarsh has experience in all project phases using Agile Methodologies and is proficient in localization tools, having developed and created a one-click solution to create a header file from an excel sheet with thousands of strings. Prior to his current role, Prakarsh worked as a Machine Learning Engineer under Prof. Virendra Singh at IIT Bombay Heritage Foundation, where he developed new deep learning networks and assisted full-time researchers with various projects. He also worked as a Software Development Engineer at Innovana Thinklabs Ltd., where he used machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to develop and evaluate algorithms to improve performance, quality, data management, and accuracy. Prakarsh holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Vellore Institute of Technology and attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay for a short course. He is skilled in Software Engineering, Deep Learning, ML, Neural Networks, Integration, UI, and has experience using tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scala.
