Prakash Chandra Pathak is a highly experienced Head of Product and Technology, currently leading a team of 52 individuals at betterplace safety solutions. With over 16 years of relevant experience, he has a proven track record of successfully leading product teams to build scalable products. Prakash is responsible for building products like Identity, Platform, Onboarding, Payroll & Wallet, Jobs and Background Verification. He has also led the Monolith to Microservices migration on polyglot technology stack (React - Vertx/Node - Mongodb/Neo4j). Prior to his current role, Prakash co-founded ocabbie technologies, where he raised Seed Fund of $500K and built the company from scratch, scaling it to 8 developers, 5 sales managers, and 4 deployment executives. He defined and delivered the product OCabbie (Employee Transportation Solution) on JavaScript/Node/MongoDB stack and deployed it on AWS. He has also worked as a Product Manager at Micromax, where he successfully defined and delivered a custom Android-based operating system for Micromax phones. Prakash holds a PGPEX degree in Product Management, Business Strategy, and Economics from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He has also completed the Global Leadership Programme from Ashridge Executive Education, Hult International Business School. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Information Technology from Birla Institute of Technology and a XIIth degree in Science from Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro Steel City.
