Prakash Dewan is an experienced test enthusiast with a rich background in architecture, design, development, and maintenance of test automation solutions. With over 17 years of relevant experience, he has worked extensively with HP UFT (formerly QTP), Selenium WebDriver, and IBM Rational Functional Tester, as well as strategizing and implementing ETL/DWH test solutions. Prakash has a unique blend of experience in test consulting services, complementing his years of working in product engineering teams following Agile methodology. He has spearheaded successful test automation consulting engagements, from opportunity inception, feasibility assessment, proof-of-concepts, business proposals, to eventual implementation. Currently, Prakash works as a Product Expert (QTP) at HCL, where he continues to hone his skills and knowledge in the field of test automation. He has also worked with Oracle as a Senior QA Engineer and IBM as a Test Architect at H&M. Prakash holds a Master of Computer Applications degree from GLA University, with a focus on Computer Science and Applications. He has a strong command of various technologies, including test, SDET, Selenium, ETL, senior software engineering, and QA. In his current role at Mediaocean, Prakash is on a test quest, constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to improve his skills and knowledge in the field of test automation. He is a proactive problem-solver, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, making him a valuable asset to any team.
