Prakash Jha is a Project Lead Development at Amdocs with over 10 years of relevant experience. He is a Microsoft Azure architect and technical lead with expertise in Python, Mainframe Development, Mainframe modernization, Midrange, and Cloud Migration. He is also trained in Microsoft AZ-300: Azure Architect Technologies and Microsoft AZ-900: Azure Fundamental. Prakash has worked on various projects, including the Rationalization Project (Legacy Closure), where he successfully led the project and discussed the High-Level Design with the business. He is proficient in COBOL, JCL, EZT, DB2, IDMS, IMS, CICS, REXX, and VSAM, and has good knowledge of versioning tools (endevor/changeman/Control-M). Prakash has been rewarded by IBM on a global level and has successfully presented his innovative ideas in BT's Global Challenge Cup, where he got till the Semi-Final. He has also worked as a Global Intern at Cambridge University. Prakash is currently working at Amdocs, where he is leading Mainframe to Azure Migration. He has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Amdocs and a Technical Lead at Tech Mahindra. In these organizations, he was involved in various activities, including gathering requirements from the business, preparing high-level and low-level flows of the process, writing code, reviewing the code of the team mates, supporting changes till deployment, and resolving production issues. Prakash has a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Instrumentation and Maintenance Technologies/Technicians from Bengal College of Engineering and Technology. He is an expert in NO CODE (WEM) development and is a blockchain enthusiast. Prakash is an active learner and is always involved in training, self-development, and knowledge sharing.
