Prakash S is an experienced Engineering Lead with a focus on React Native, mobile and web applications, and full stack development. With over 17 years of experience in IT, Prakash has a diverse skill set that includes React Native, iOS, tvOS, Android apps, Java, JNI, Linux, Android SDK, ReactJS, Full Stack, C, C++, and Qt. He has been involved in the complete development life cycle, including system study, analysis, design, and implementation stages of various projects. Currently, Prakash is a Sr Engineering Manager at Sling TV, where he is using the React Native stack to build a new SlingTV app across FireTV, Android TV, tvOS, Android Mobile, Android Tablet, iOS, and iPad. In his previous role as Director of Android Mobile Development at Altair, Prakash led a team to develop the WEYV music app across multiple devices like Android, iOS, Chromecast, Sonos Speakers, and Alexa. Prior to that, Prakash was a Technical Lead at Lava International, where he worked on customizations of core apps and framework for Lava phones, which are based on stock Android code. He also published the Wyze Launcher android application on the market, which is a stock launcher replacement that automatically categorizes all applications, storing it into neat groups based on their functionality. Prakash holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University. He has relevant experience of 18.04 years and is skilled in Senior Software Engineering, Mobile, Android, React Native, and iOS.
