Prakhar Gurunani is a sophomore at BITS Pilani pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science. He is a passionate backend developer with a keen interest in open source and building useful tools. Prakhar is currently working as a Back End Developer at the Department of Visual Media, BITS Pilani, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining the backend of various web applications. Prakhar has a relevant experience of 0.36 years and has previously worked as a Developer at Google Developer Student Club BITS Pilani and MLSA BITS Pilani. At Google Developer Student Club BITS Pilani, he was responsible for developing and maintaining various web applications and at MLSA BITS Pilani, he worked on developing machine learning models. Prakhar's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, which he is expected to complete in 2025. He is a highly motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of computer science. Prakhar's technical skills include Backend Development and Web Development. He is proficient in various programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Django, Flask, and Node.js. He is also familiar with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB. Prakhar is currently working on his project for Google Summer of Code 2022, where he is contributing to the 52°North project. He is excited to be a part of the open source community and hopes to contribute to more projects in the future.
