Prakhar Jain is a passionate Data Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience. He has a technical understanding of computers and a strong interest in data storage, processing, and querying. Currently working as a Data Engineer Associate at Goldman Sachs, he is responsible for creating reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems. Prakhar has worked on various open-source technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Presto, Spark, Airflow, and AWS ecosystem like DMS, Redshift, S3, Athena. He has designed, architected, and provisioned big data infrastructure for Vogo Automotive Pvt. Ltd. by using these technologies. This granted all query platforms and a source for business-critical dashboards. In his previous role as an Engineer I at Reliance, Prakhar designed and implemented a relational schema for the AJIO Cash wallet project using ER diagrams, normalization, and Spring Data JPA. He also developed a mobile number authentication project end-to-end using Spring Boot, Redis cache, and Oracle for persistence. Additionally, he developed a product catalog system for B2B VMS using Spring Boot, MongoDB, and used Apache POI libraries for Excel sheets used by sellers in B2B. Prakhar holds an Integrated Dual Degree (Bachelors + Masters) in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. He also has a High School degree from Vidyamandir Sr Sec School and a 10th grade degree from St. Xavier High School, Raipur.
