Prakhar Srivastav is a senior software engineer at Google, currently working on Firebase, one of the world's most popular app development platforms. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Prakhar is a full-stack engineer who has led teams to land multiple products and services, from phone authentication to building planet-scale messaging systems. Prakhar's past experience includes working as a student developer for Google Summer of Code, where he was selected to work with the Programming Languages Research Group at UMass Amherst. During this time, he designed and developed a web-based tool for the Surveyman research project using React.js and Flux application architecture. Prakhar has also worked as a software engineering intern for Twitter, where he was part of the answers team. Prakhar holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Columbia University, where he completed his studies in 2016. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, which he completed in 2013. Prakhar's undergraduate degree is a B.E.(Hons) in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Prakhar's tech stack includes expertise in software engineering, mobile and web development, Android, Javascript, research science, and frontend development.
