Pramod Cv is a passionate and hands-on result-oriented professional with over 12 years of experience in software development in test. He is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at VMware Software India Private Limited. Pramod is a SDET Sr. Engineer in R&D and is seeking to improve product quality and productivity with automation and CI/CD. At VMware, Pramod was part of the mammoth transition to Development + Operations, where he had the ownership of eliminating manual effort in the area of build, deployment, interop, e2e validation, and performance. He reduced product certification cycle from 1 month to 3 days by using automation and CI/CD, thus recommending a stable build. Pramod is proficient in Core Java, JavaScript, and Python, with a solid understanding of different data structures. He has hands-on exposure in developing microservices-based scalable applications and deployments using dockers and Kubernetes. Pramod has expertise in developing automated suite frameworks for end-to-end verification in CI/CD Pipeline both UI and API. He also has hands-on knowledge of Linux system administration and associated scripting Shell and Python. Pramod has worked on a wide range of VMware R&D products as an SDET Engineer. In his current role, he is responsible for designing, building the CI/CD infrastructure and tools to deliver Cloud Service for the SaaS application. He has also designed and developed the automation for product deployment and validation for the Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery. Pramod has worked closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with customer, scale/performance, and operability in mind. Pramod holds a Master's degree in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from M V J College of Engineering, Bangalore.
