Pramod Halliyavar is a highly skilled Tech Lead with over 2.6 years of relevant experience. He is currently working at 75F APAC as a Firmware Lead Engineer, where he is responsible for architecting, designing, and developing firmware on Microchip and STM32 controllers using both bare metal and FreeRTOS. With a Master's degree in Embedded Systems from BITS Pilani and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from DSCE, Pramod has a strong educational background. He has also gained extensive experience in developing firmware for embedded controllers, developing hardware, and managing projects. Pramod has implemented firmware for several wireless and wired applications, developed drivers, protocols, hardware, and other applications, and assisted customers in launching their products and going for mass production. He has worked on various wireless protocols, including Enhanced Agile HID (Cypress), Gazell (Nordic Semiconductors), Cyfi Star network protocol, and BLE, and wired protocols like UDB power delivery and Power line Communications. Some of his notable accomplishments include developing a smart electric vehicle charging system, a smart city project consisting of street light control, weather monitoring, light intensity based automation, pollution monitoring, and motion-controlled intensity control. He has also developed firmware for Lenovo mouse and assisted in production, developed a multihop network solution for PLC and BLE network, and developed a test framework layer for BLE. Pramod is highly skilled in C programming, assembly programming, schematics and layout development, and Android. He has also worked with various embedded controllers like PSoC 1,3,4,5 (arm cortex M0 and M3), 8051, nRF24LU1+, PSoC4 BLE, and radios like WUSB NX, WUSB NL, WUSB LP, nRF24L01P, and PSoC4 BLE. He has experience with debug tools like USBEE Dx, Wi-Spy Chanalyzer, PD protocol analyzer, and Oscilloscope. Apart from his technical skills, Pramod has experience with software development on FPGA Vertex 5 and 6 series, hardware development on Altium for 2 layer PCB, and beginner-level knowledge of Node JS, web design with HTML, boot strap and back end coding, Java Script, and hosting website on Heroku. He has also worked on Jenkins build system projects and version control tools like Perforce, Git, Bitbucket, and Subversion.
