Pramod Kumar is a highly skilled software engineer with nearly 5 years of relevant experience in the technology industry. Currently employed at Nutanix as an MTS, he is an integral part of the Objects team, where he is responsible for handling Object's replication feature to support buckets replication across multiple data centers for disaster recovery. His primary focus has been on replication component performance improvement, 1:N replication, and Hybrid cloud replication. Prior to his current role, Pramod worked as an MTS Intern at Nutanix, where he was involved in expanding Nutanix Object store implementation across multiple Kubernetes clusters, providing increased scale and fault tolerance. He also won the Hackathon by building a machine learning-based files tiering system with a focus on optimizing cost, storage limits, and latency. Pramod's educational background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Penn State University, which he completed in 2021, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology, which he completed in 2015. During his time at Penn State University, he worked as a Teaching Assistant for CMPSC 221: Object-Oriented Programming with Web-Based Applications in Spring 2020 and CMPEN 270: Digital logic in Spring 2021.
