Pramod R. is a seasoned technology and field engineering leader with over 12 years of experience in big data, machine learning, and the cloud. Currently, he serves as the Head of Solutions Architecture for DNB & COM at Databricks South Asia, where he helps customers across South Asia and India solve complex data problems. Pramod is responsible for leading pre-sales solutions architecture teams based in India, building and scaling teams focused on assisting customers and prospects across both digital native and commercial segments. Prior to joining Databricks, Pramod worked as a Manager for Data & AI at Publicis Sapient, where he built, scaled, and led globally distributed teams as part of the Big Data & AI CoE leadership team. He was also a founding member and delivery lead for Data & AI Initiatives at Sapient Labs, where he focused on building cross-cutting solution accelerators to solve key challenges for BFSI clients. Additionally, he served as the Lead Data Architect for Phase-1 of the Consolidated Audit Trail program. Before Publicis Sapient, Pramod worked as a Consultant for Optimum Solutions, where he helped the company's banking clients across Malaysia and Singapore build customized solutions for various regulatory projects. Notable engagements include building specialized solutions for Malaysian GST rollout and FATCA compliance (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act). Pramod holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Bangalore University. He is skilled in Databricks, AI, big data, machine learning, and senior software engineering.
