Pramod Vrushabhendrappa is a seasoned technology professional with over 20 years of experience in product development, business strategy, and team management. He has a rich background in building products and platforms across various domains, including telecom, datacom, consumer, and advertisement. As a Senior Manager at Harman, Pramod is responsible for driving innovation in automotive, ad tech, data science, data engineering, consumer cloud, mobile tech, and IP networking. He has built and managed world-class product teams from scratch for end-to-end product development and played significant technical and leadership roles in establishing and growing organizations. Pramod has also managed large and multiple R&D teams with managers, architects, and research scientists. Pramod is a well-rounded professional with expertise in AdTech (CTR/CVR), consumer software (HMS, handset customization), and IP networking (switching, routing, security, and application protocols). He is currently heading Huawei Ads Predictive & Algorithm Optimization team, where he has built a large team from the ground up during the COVID-19 pandemic. His team is focused on delivering state-of-the-art predictive algorithms such as Ads CTR/CVR to improve the consumer experience, significantly influence ROI to advertisers, and revenue for publishers. Pramod's past experience includes working as a Senior Engineering Manager at Huawei Ads Serving Platform Dev - Data Science & Data Engineering, where he focused on building Ad Predictive AI algorithms using deep learning/machine learning technology for CTR prediction, CVR prediction, and contextual/personalized ad recommendations. He also served as a Director of Engineering at Huawei AppStore Integration & Huawei Community Development, where he built a large team in a short span of 3-4 months from the ground up during the COVID-19 pandemic and showcased quick business results. Pramod holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from S J M Institute of Technology, Chitradurga. He also completed his 1st & 2nd PUC in PCMB from the same institute and attended Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Karnataka, for his secondary education.
