Pranab C is a global engineering leader with over 16 years of experience in product development. He is currently working as a Principal Member of Technical Staff/Architect at Salesforce, where he is responsible for developing distributed, internet-scale products and platforms. Pranab has also worked at Freshworks and Microsoft in senior architect and software engineering lead roles, respectively. Pranab is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, where he studied Electronics. He also holds a Master of Science in Technology in Maths and Computer Science from the same institution. Additionally, Pranab has a Global MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, where he specialized in Business Administration and Management. Pranab is proficient in AI/ML/Intelligent Cloud workflows with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS offerings. He is highly skilled in several programming languages, including Python, Golang, Scala, and Java. He is also experienced in working with various tech stacks such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Spark, Kafka, and TensorFlow. At Freshworks, Pranab led the architecture division of Identity, Authentication, Access Management, and Billing areas of the platform. He developed a seamless SSO with any IdP via SAML/OAuth2.0/OIDC/JWT and unified billing and subscription management across Freshworks' portfolio of products. The Identity Platform service he developed was used by over 2 million DAU with over 200K active connections/day supporting more than 50,000 large customers' varied identity needs. Pranab is a hands-on product leader in distributed, internet-scale products/platforms. He has a passion for delivering innovative solutions that drive business growth.
