Pranav Gupta is a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer with over 4 years of relevant experience. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi. Pranav is passionate about solving large-scale problems and developing scalable and efficient solutions. Currently, Pranav is working as a Software Engineer at Compass, where he is responsible for creating tools and services for internal teams to achieve better development and testing experience. He is also working on building distributed microservices based architectures on top of gRPC and thrift. Pranav has developed a toolchain for gRPC performance testing with locust and is experienced in delivering codebases to orchestration systems like Kubernetes under AWS. Additionally, he has sound knowledge of services like IAM, S3, VPC, EC2, ECS, EKS, etc. Pranav is also skilled in working with CircleCI for CI/CD pipelines and Datadog for application monitoring and request tracing. Prior to his current role, Pranav worked as a Software Engineer at Samsung, where he was responsible for the development and maintenance of Core Cloud Services for smooth functioning of Samsung's Smart TV services. He has also worked at Siemens as a Research and Development Engineer, where he worked on Sound Source Localization in Visual Scenes.
