Pranav Karan is a seasoned software developer with over 13 years of industry experience. He is a data science and deep learning enthusiast with a focus on machine learning and NLP/text analytics. Pranav has worked on multiple projects involving C#, R, Python, Sparks, Hadoop, TensorFlow, OpenAI, ASP.NET MVC, Java Spring MVC, AngularJS, jQuery, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, and MS SQL Server. Currently working as a senior software engineer at LexisNexis, Pranav has previously worked as a senior software engineer at Qualcomm and a machine learning engineer at Gyansys Inc. At Qualcomm, he worked on the development of the building and maintain code repositories Qualcomm drivers with third party SCons, Python, C#, Java, NLP, Scikit-Learn, Word2Vec, and used ADO and Microservices for creating backend services. At Gyansys Inc., he worked on the development of virtual assistance having AI capabilities like facial recognition, object detection, and knowledge base creation using NLP, deep learning, MS Bot framework, Google ML, Python, AWS, core Java, ASP.NET Core 1.1, Azure, C#, and MongoDB. Pranav holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Wright State University and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from Jaypee University.
