Pranav Khurana is an experienced Software Engineer currently serving as a Technical Lead at Arcesium (D.E. Shaw Group). With over 5 years of relevant experience in the computer software industry, he is skilled in Java, .NET, Databases, Multithreading, Algorithms and Data Structures, Object Oriented Methodology, Architectural Design, Design Principles, and Design patterns. Prior to his current position, Pranav worked as a Software Developer at ION, where he was part of the Leadership Development Program (LDP) and gained insights and knowledge from multiple teams. He successfully onboarded the first-ever client for FFastFill ION Trader and developed and scaled a high-throughput low-latency SAAS solution for Agency trading of Derivatives. He also improved performance of multiple widgets that flow critical real-time data like market prices, depth, etc. and improved data handling capabilities by 5x, making the solution robust against frequent failures. Pranav was deeply involved in every phase of the project life cycle from design and development to testing, documentation, and deployment. He has experience working with Java + .NET codebase with Apache Ignite. He also worked as a Technology Intern at To The New, where he developed a web application for the company's internal use. Pranav holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. He also completed his Intermediate from S.M. Arya Public School and High school from St. Mary's Convent School.
