As the VP of Technology at BigVision, he leads a team of 10 highly talented computer vision engineers, providing cutting-edge solutions to clients across the globe. Pranav's expertise lies in solving complex problems in computer vision, and he has helped several startups overcome their computer vision challenges. His team has built state-of-the-art solutions for video search, object detection and classification, and semantic segmentation. These algorithms are being utilized by different companies, including some in stealth mode, that have raised over $100 million and are market leaders in their respective domains. Pranav is always looking to expand his team and is passionate about discovering new talent in computer vision. He has also built several novel algorithms to help find clips in videos, some of which are so lightweight that they have made their way to deep learning chipsets. Before joining BigVision, Pranav was the Co-Founder and CEO of YobiAI, where he worked on Jump!, a plugin that helps cut down the time needed for selecting video clips from a large amount of video data by up to 90%. He also built a database of celebrities from IMDB to identify them by name in a large collection of video data. Pranav holds a Dual Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and has relevant experience of over 21 years. His tech stack includes computer vision, senior software engineering, AI, ML, and deep learning.
