Pranav Pandey is a self-taught software developer and designer from India with nearly a decade of experience in the field. He specializes in Android technologies and has published over 20 apps on Google Play with more than 900K downloads. Pranav is passionate about open-source projects and believes in giving back to the community that has helped him learn and grow. He is currently working as a freelancer and developing various open-source libraries for Android to provide better customization options and speed up the development process. Pranav's journey in the software development industry began in 2011 when he started reverse-engineering various Android apps and developing custom ROMs at XDA. He then transitioned to native app development in 2013 and has since worked with a couple of start-ups, leading the software development of three Android devices in the process. Pranav has also traveled to other countries, gaining valuable experience and knowledge from his managers, team members, and co-workers. Pranav's past experience includes working as a web developer for his personal websites using Polymer and Firebase. He has also worked on websites using MySQL and PHP for the backend and CSS/HTML and JavaScript for the frontend. Pranav's expertise in Android development has earned him recognition as a Recognized Developer at XDA-developers.com. He was the first to port Google Pixel live wallpapers for other devices and has developed ROMs like ArcMini and xNXT. Pranav has also ported many applications to older versions of Android using various concepts and hacks of reverse engineering. He was the first to port Sony Small Apps API to Xperia™ 2011 MDPI devices. Pranav holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from dr. a.p.j. abdul kalam technical university. He also holds an All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) and a Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class X) from Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya (R.P.V.V.). Pranav's technical skills include software engineering, Android development, design, UI, and backend development.
