Pranav Prakash is a highly skilled signal processing engineer with a Master's degree in Electrical Signals and System Engineering. He possesses expertise in image processing, controls, machine learning, optimization, and filtering. Pranav has a keen interest in working on all aspects of a device's interaction with its environment, from modeling and identifying the dynamics to controlling and analyzing the data itself. Currently, Pranav is working as an AI Engineer at Bird Control Group, where he is responsible for implementing the detection feature using deep/machine learning and computer vision to find birds in real-world images. He is working on the company's bird deterrence device titled "AVIX Autonomic," which can track objects of interest and take real-time decisions necessary to scare away the birds using its patented laser technology. Pranav is also part of the detection team, where he is working on human detection for safety features. He has used Pandas and Scikit-Learn libraries to generate patterns using Kernel Density Estimation and worked on YOLOv3 Neural network with different backbones to extract and classify bounding boxes. He has also investigated different cameras and development boards such as Nvidia Jetson Nano and Google Coral. Pranav has implemented gradient-based auto-exposure to acquire more features in the captured images. Before joining Bird Control Group, Pranav worked as a Teaching Assistant for the course of Signal Analysis and completed his Master's thesis on the identification of Quasi-Normal Modes in Wavefield Problems at Technische Universiteit Delft. He identified the modes necessary to obtain a reduced-order model to reconstruct the image of a source for an open Electromagnetic System. Pranav has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from NIT Trichy and a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Delft University of Technology. He has hands-on experience in AI, Python, ML, Computer Vision, C, Scikit, Image Processing, Pandas, and Neural Networks. Pranav has 3.68 years of relevant experience and is passionate about working on challenging projects that require a high level of technical expertise.
