Pranav Sriram is a highly motivated software engineer with a hunger for finding efficient solutions to problems. He is currently working at Oracle as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, where he has gained expertise in various technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Python. Pranav is a certified Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect and Oracle Autonomous Database professional. With over 5 years of relevant experience, Pranav has worked on various projects at Oracle, including the development of OCI Container Registry services and Oracle Kubernetes Engine. He has actively developed features for OKE and released new versions of Kubernetes for the platform. Pranav has also been involved in developing Arm-based worker nodes for OKE and writing Kubernetes operators to use MySQL DB in a Kubernetes cluster. In his previous role as a Solution Engineer at Oracle, Pranav worked on customer implementations on Cloud Infrastructure and database migrations from on-premise to the cloud. He used Python, Java, Terraform, and shell scripting for automation and developed an OCI-Connector to Ballerina (open source). Pranav also created a chatbot to control the administration of Oracle Autonomous Database using Python SDK and Django platform. Pranav holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and completed his Pre-University College education from Deeksha Integrated. He is a skilled software engineer with expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, infra, Python, Docker, Java, MySQL, and Scala.
