Pranay Bathini is a passionate and enthusiastic software engineer with over 3 years of experience in developing software that handles a massive scale. He graduated in Computer Science from NIT Allahabad in 2019 and has since worked with different technologies covering both breadth and depth. Pranay's tech-stack is mainly in Java, Spring, and Spring-boot frameworks, and he uses Python to automate the boring stuff. He has used both SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Aerospike, and Redis as a cache. He has also worked with a stream-processing engine called Apache Flink to perform near real-time calculations. Pranay has worked on AWS Cloud and GCP cloud and has migrated multiple applications from the latter to the former. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Lowe's India, where he has developed two microservices backend and frontend for time-based scheduling and hook-based triggering of workflows for SQL workflow builder service. He has also improved and optimized the Elastic search cluster configuration, saving 1000 dollars monthly costs. Apart from his professional work, Pranay has very good knowledge of CS Fundamentals that includes Data structures, Algorithms, Operating systems, DBMS, Computer Networks, Distributed systems, and Object-oriented design. He is a quick learner and has great curiosity to know things deeply, which makes him ever-adapting. Pranay's past experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Paytm Payments Bank, where he developed a Central Limit management system to dynamically set, calculate, and validate transaction limits and restrictions on all transactions dynamically on the product and individual customer by the customers and different internal services like UPI, Cards, Fraud engine, etc. He also developed the flow to set limits on individual savings account at the time of on-boarding.
