Pranay Narang is a Junior Year CS student at Ajeenkya DY Patil University with a passion for developing back-end infrastructure, serverless cloud-native applications, and DevOps. He is currently working as a Site Reliability Engineer (Intern) at esper.io, where he has gained experience in SRE, DevOps, Backend, and infra. Pranay is an active Open Source contributor for various projects, showcasing his commitment to the tech community. He has also served as the GDSC Lead '21 and Postman Student Leader, demonstrating his leadership skills and dedication to his craft. In his previous roles, Pranay has worked as a Software Engineer - Intern at nturing technologies and an SDE Intern at kalpas innovations. At nturing technologies, he designed and built back-end services with ExpressJS and Postgres, along with cloud infrastructure on AWS with ECS, Load Balancers, CloudWatch, and Lambda functions. He also implemented Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for frequently deployed services to cut down on manual redeployment overheads. At kalpas innovations, he led the implementation of breaking down the back-end API monolith into micro-services, implemented Single Sign-On with Keycloak across all organization-wide products, and migrated 10+ legacy applications from EC2 VMs to Kubernetes. Pranay's education background includes a B.Tech in Computer Engineering from Ajeenkya DY Patil University and a High School Diploma from The Bishop's School. He has a strong technical skill set, including experience in AWS, Kubernetes, Microservices, AI, ECS, Terraform, CI/CD, Jenkins, and Postgres.
