Praneeth Bobba is a senior member of technical staff at VMware, with over 8 years of relevant experience in software development. He is currently focused on developing distributed and scalable microservices for automating infrastructure and application deployment across multiple clouds in VMware Cloud Automation Services. Praneeth is known for being a quick learner, good listener, and strategic thinker. He has strong collaboration skills and enjoys working with others to achieve common goals. Praneeth's technical skills include SaaS, Java, Cloud Computing, and Cloud Native. In addition to his work, Praneeth enjoys listening to science podcasts and attending travel meetups. He has a strong interest in math and believes that quantum physics will unlock the secrets to our existence and enable time travel. Praneeth's education background includes a Master's degree in Signal Processing and Communications from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. He also has experience in Math and Science from his time at Alfa Junior College and Chaitanya Public School, respectively. Praneeth has worked at VMware for his entire career, starting as a Member of Technical Staff II in R&D and progressing to his current role as a Senior Member of Technical Staff. He has contributed to an open-source, cross-cloud VM management platform called Photon-model and is currently involved in backend (Java) development for the SaaS version of the cloud automation tool. Praneeth's technical skills are extensive and include software engineering, SQL, microservices, infra, JavaScript, AngularJS, test, Docker, Spring Boot, Spring, ETL, AWS, Azure, Backend, Data Warehouse, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Kafka, Postgres, GCP, Integration, and UI.
