Praneeth Ponnekanti is a highly motivated and skilled data analytics professional with a passion for providing innovative and strategic solutions to businesses. He completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics jointly offered by IIM Calcutta, IIT Kharagpur, and ISI Kolkata, which was ranked 14th globally by QS in MSBA programs 2019. During his program, he worked on various analytics and machine learning projects, including Recommender Systems, Deep Learning applications in Healthcare, and Business Forecasting. With almost four years of relevant experience, Praneeth has built data ecosystems using Azure, Alteryx, and Dataguru, and implemented robust Supply Chain Analytics, Customer Analytics (CLV), and Product Analytics solutions. He is currently working as a Management Consulting Analyst at Accenture, where he is defining and implementing data and analytics strategies for clients in the Consumer Goods & Services industry. Praneeth has a diverse skill set that includes Python, Azure, Deep Learning, Databricks, SQL, XGBoost, and GCP. He has also worked as a Data Science Consultant at Coupa Software, where he spearheaded the end-to-end data ingestion process automation using Python and Alteryx. He built a tool for an FMCG pioneer that enabled visibility of shipment analytics and KPIs across 255 geographies over a 52-week horizon leveraging Azure Stack (Databricks, Analysis Services). He also implemented spare parts demand forecasting solutions for an Automobile giant with a wMAPE of 9.6 and devised production planning strategies for a Brewery major in the ANZ region using Supply Chain Guru. Before joining Coupa Software, Praneeth worked as a Data Scientist at ACT Fibernet, where he analyzed the growth, churn drivers, and behavior of consumers in the ISP business. He developed predictive (XGBoost) and theoretical CLV models to rank win-back customers and aid in developing customized win-back campaigns to help improve yearly retention rate by 3%, net churn by 10bps. He identified key loyal consumer segments for pay-term upgrades to help reduce net churn by 20bps and devised action plans across geographies based on the drivers identified above to help improve monthly revenue by 10 million INR.
