Pranesh Anubhav is a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon Web Services (AWS) - AI Vertical Services, with over 5 years of experience in software engineering. He has a passion for building systems that bring joy to people and has been fortunate to be part of multiple customer-facing products in Amazon. His profound interest in distributed systems and artificial intelligence has led him to work on various projects related to these areas. Pranesh has worked extensively on Amazon lockers, where he was part of the core team that developed the new generation of Amazon lockers, which is a Bluetooth-based IoT device. He was responsible for developing the wireless communication protocol between user mobile devices and the locker, designing the message structure, and choosing the data exchange format. He also developed the firmware application code using Rust programming language and the backend system from scratch, which generates the user session for customers and delivery agents to communicate with lockers. In his current role at AWS, Pranesh is focused on developing software solutions for the AI vertical services. He is responsible for designing and implementing backend services/features required for the security protocol to function. He has also worked on creating Certificate Authority infrastructure using AWS PCA, working with cryptography algorithms like ECDHE (key agreement), ECIES (hybrid encryption), AES-GCM, and using AWS security services like KMS and Secrets Manager. Pranesh holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Physics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He is proficient in various technologies such as software engineering, AWS, AI, web, backend, infra, and mobile.
