Pranesh Vittal is an experienced Database and DevOps Architect with a strong background in product companies and startups. He has over 20 years of relevant experience and is skilled in AWS, Databases, and DevOps. Pranesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Software Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. Currently, Pranesh is the Director of Engineering at Clear, where he is responsible for leading the engineering team. Prior to this, he worked at Medlife as the Associate Director of Database & DevOps, where he owned and managed all of Medlife's environments on AWS. He was also responsible for all build and release activities, deployments, architecting new platforms, and monitoring production systems. Pranesh negotiated with vendors to bring new products and platforms into Medlife. Before his role as Associate Director, Pranesh was the Database Architect and Principal Build & Release Engineer at Medlife. He started the MongoDB cluster from scratch and scaled it to production. He led all initiatives from the DevOps front and built a brand new team, trained them, and brought them up to speed to take up all DevOps-related tasks at Medlife. Pranesh's technical skills include Senior Software Engineer, DevOps, AWS, and MongoDB. He is a tech speaker and has a demonstrated history of working in product companies and startups.
