Pranesha Shashwath Kumar Kattepura Jayabheema Rao is a highly skilled software engineer with 7.93 years of relevant experience. Currently working as a Software Developer Intern at Cisco, she has a passion for collaborating and working on cutting-edge technologies. Her expertise lies in building unique architectures and software to solve problems at web scale. Pranesha has worked extensively on Apache Storm and Vespa, and her latest work has been with Java 11 and Python 3. She has also worked on technologies such as Cassandra, Oozie, HBase, Kubernetes, Docker, GraphQL, GRPC & Redis, Distributed systems, Information retrieval systems & Microservices. Her interests lie in backend software development, using Java 11, Python 3, C, and Bash. In her current role at Cisco, Pranesha has worked on Software Defined Networking, IGMP Snooping, and has debugged Python code, wrote cron jobs in Bash, and enhanced C code. She has also contributed to the Cisco chatbot in project Breeze(PaaS), where she wrote HTML parser that maps headers to content from Cisco wiki into elasticsearch and wrote code to search answers for user queries. Prior to her current role, Pranesha worked as a Software Engineer at UTC Aerospace Systems, where she was responsible for Software Verification and Validation of safety-critical software as per DO 178C. She worked in the Engine and Control Systems department, where she wrote test scripts and analyzed C code for Prognostic Health Management Units and Full Authority Digital Engine Controllers (FADEC). Pranesha holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University, and completed her CBSE PCMC 12th and 10th from the Central Board of Secondary Education.
