Pranil Joshi is a Master's student in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University with a passion for cutting-edge technology that makes a real difference in the lives of people. With hands-on experience in Computer Architecture, Deep Learning, and Software Development, Pranil is an engineer with a fresh perspective. He strongly believes that technological progress can uplift any community and is committed to working in the IT industry to achieve this goal. Currently working as a Software Development Engineer at Adobe, Pranil has provided business-critical licensing and identity management services to all Adobe products. He led the time-sensitive initiative of deprecating the use of Internet Explorer in Adobe apps in favor of the modern and more secure Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF) browser. Prior to this, he worked as a Deep Learning Research Intern at Adobe, where he devised a workflow to use a black-box chatbot to assist in training a chatbot in a different domain. He used Keras with Python to show improved natural language understanding and proposed a new Dynamic Sample Re-weighting Algorithm to learn from the noisy annotated data in the target domain generated from direct queries made to the source model. Pranil's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stanford University, which he is expected to complete in April 2023. In addition to his technical skills, Pranil is known for his friendly demeanor and oratory skills. His tech stack includes Software Engineering, Deep Learning, Keras, Research Science, and Python.
