Pranit Bauva is a purpose-driven Founder and Investor with a passion for reading, thinking, and doing. He is currently the Founder and CEO of nirah, where he is focused on shipping meaningful products with empathy and love for the customer. Pranit has 2.96 years of relevant experience in the tech industry and is well-versed in integration, software engineering, search, Golang, Kubernetes, microservices, backend, and infrastructure. Prior to founding nirah, Pranit worked as a Product Engineer at Setu, where he built the industry-first Reverse Penny Drop product for securities, lending, and insurance industries. He spent a lot of time talking to customers, understanding their pain points, and shaping the product to help them be more efficient, resourceful, and compliant. Pranit achieved product-market fit, built a significant and long-lasting competitive advantage, and made RPD the highest-margin product in Setu's offerings. Pranit also worked as a Product Engineer at Carousell, where he built the chatbot feature for handling customer support tickets in Golang on a microservices-based architecture. He significantly reduced the technical debt of the CROP tool, which helps brands remove counterfeits, and made various upgrades in the team's services to make them more stable. Pranit holds a Dual Degree in Engineering from IIT and a High School degree in Science from Mithibai College. He is a skilled communicator who has documented, explained, and refined the understanding of the product, nuances, and operational aspects with sales, customer success, and integration/support engineers.
